Hey There

My name is Kelly! I am a mother of three daughters, a Yaya to two granddaughters, and a soon to be wife. I am new to candle making, so thank you so much for your support! I am also saved by Jesus and my organ donor! I am a liver transplant survivor and will always donate part of my proceeds to organ donation organizations.

All About Me

After researching the harmful effects of majority of the candles on the market, I wanted to create a 100% all natural candle.  I never knew there were so many choices of wax, wicks, and essential oils out there. Just because they advertise natural or organic, doesn't mean it doesn't contain one or more ingredients that make it harmful.  Some candles that contain fragrance oils or essential oils that have additives, for example, produce gases that can cause cancer and waxes, such as paraffin, produce unhealthy air quality in your home.  After trying many different combinations of oils and waxes, I am proud to say that all of my candles are 100% all natural. They are made of all natural soy and beeswax, cotton wicks, and 100% pure essential oils. Also, I loved the idea of reusing antique glassware instead of using new containers. I have had so much fun finding all different colors, shapes and sizes of glassware and giving it new life.

As a liver transplant survivor, it is important for me to give back and spread the knowledge of how important it is to be an organ donor. I will always give a portion of my proceeds to different organ donations in Texas. As many of you, I checked the organ donor box on my driver's license when I turned 16, but I never really thought about it.  It wasn't until it was me who was sick and was in desperate need of a new liver, that I realized how important it actually was for people to be organ donors. I waited several years until I was finally accepted to be on the transplant waiting list. I was going through an ugly divorce, was caring for my youngest daughter by myself, and was no longer physically able to work. My family rallied and we moved the DFW area so that I could also be on the local list. After being called several times to the hospital and several "never mind you aren't a match", the seventh call was the one that changed my life. It was all in God's timing and the liver I received has given me precious time and my health back. Since my transplant, I became a mom that could actually care for my last daughter at home and to my two adult daughters again, I met the love of my life who has shown me how a man should treat a woman, and I have become a Yaya to my first granddaughter and another granddaughter arriving in September.  I am beyond blessed and grateful because of Jesus and my organ donor. If you are already an organ donor, thank you! If you are not, really think about becoming one. "Every donor can save 8 lives and enhance over 75 more.  Every 8 minutes another person is added to the transplant waiting list."

Before I go, I wanted to put an explanation behind the name of my business. I wanted to capture my journey and also the story of the antique glass that I use to make these natural candles.  "Recycled" refers to not only recycling someone's once loved glassware again, but also recycling yourself in the way of organ donation. I know some people may not like that terminology but it is a truthful way to think about it. "Revival" is bringing life back in to the antique glass and also bringing a new chance at life to someone by becoming an organ donor.

Thank you for letting me tell my story and thank you again for your business.

Much love and appreciation,

Kelly
